BICAM is a new generation modular camera, its flexibility
and versatility make it very up-to-date. Competition
in the field of digital photography, the continuous demand
for new technological proposals requires tools which
are easily adapted to new requirements. New lenses have
been studied for the latest-generation sensors which
require specific optical solutions in order to make the
most of reduced-size microchips.
Combining digital backs with BICAM is achieved by mounting
a Hasselblad type Sliding
Adapter Back code D7020, or a simple Adapter Back
code D7012. The Flexibellow allows mounting of digital
and traditional lenses, the possibility of two-axis right-angle
balancing, and focusing via a micrometrical system with
a 23mm range. The lenses for Flexibellow are mounted
on SILVESTRI bayonets without a helicoidal ring; their
coincidence is achieved with specific bayonet mounts.
The Schneider wideangle Digitar 2,8/28mm is available
in helicoidal and bayonet mounts, to be used with a rigid
type S plates.
It is possible to use NIKON wide angle lenses; 15mm,
18mm, 20mm, 24mm, by means of a special Nikon plate with
bayonet mount and Copal Press shutter. The visual image
can be obtained on frosted glass, or with a code 0900
external viewfinder with roof-style level, equipped with
screen formats.
Shiftable
modular camera with extraordinary performances in professional
digital photography.
Wide-Angle,
Langscape, Architectural, Industrial and Still Life Photography
Bicam has multiple uses; "still life" , industrial, architecture, indoor,
travel, etc. Bicam also has a great aptitude for photography with wide-angle
lenses; the greatly reduced distance from the focal plane of these lenses is
very often a serious obstacle in the use of view cameras. Difficulty in positioning
the wide-angle, difficulty due to the reduced distance from the focal plane,
difficulty in undertaking accommodation movements, difficulty in aligning the
planes. Bicam however can easily take on the role of a rigid body camera for
use with a Digitar 2,8/28mm, and a moment later can be accessoried with a Flexibellow
bellows, for studio photography, with the option of mounting the Digitar 4/80
or a Digital HR 100. Bicam can operate with an external shift viewfinder for
rapid shot photography, without the need to check with the ground-glass finder,
but at the time that a perfect framing is needed, the "Sliding Adapter" is ready
to quickly bring the ground-glass finder into action.
